How does it work?
A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners. 20 minutes run fast, but they are enough to build first connections before the meeting ends and the next talk starts.
1) Registration
- Register via the Register button.
- Add contact and organisation details as requested
- Those who are interested to manage 1:1 meetings MUST select at least one networking session
2) Publish a 'project cooperation' to showcase your needs and/or pitch your skills or project ideas
Create a clear cooperation profile to raise your visibility on the b2match platform.
Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer to potential partners, and who you want to meet. A good profile will generate significantly more meeting requests.
The event focuses on the following Horizon Europe – Cluster 5 calls 2024:
- Climate sciences and responses.
- Cross-sectoral solutions for the climate transition.
- Sustainable, secure and competitive energy supply.
- Efficient, sustainable and inclusive energy use.
- Clean and competitive solutions for all transport modes.
- Safe, Resilient Transport and Smart Mobility services for passengers and goods.
- Social Sciences and Humanities
What can you include in a project cooperation:
- Title: main idea or possible role in the project.
- Description: You can include here the capabilities of your entity: what can you do specifically for the topic or possible role in a proposal, your previous experience (national or European projects), if you have a prototype/pilot plant/demonstration site, if you can involve other partners in the idea… You can also include a picture/graphic to increase interest in your profile (at the end of the page).
- Project stage: if you have a concept idea or project, this is early stage. Select planning if you are sure about applying to a topic or you have developed a strategy to have this idea done. If you have a prototype/demo site/experience in a current project you select execution. If you are not sure of what select, just keep it empty.
- Topic/Call: if you are interested in participating in a specific topic with your capabilities you can select from the list. It can be completed with the Call selection if you consider your capabilities can cover other topics in the destination. This criterion is one of the most used by participants to find partners and organise meetings.
- Type of cooperation sought: if you are going to coordinate or just looking to join a consortium.
You have the chance to also pitch your skills and competencies or project ideas against one or more topics among those included in the calls, which can be selected during your registration phase.
